The STRONG-UR team will take part in the upcoming Light 3D Summer School, taking place from 21–26 June 2026 at the Congressi Stefano Franscini, Monte Verità, in Ascona, Switzerland.
The international programme focuses on recent advances in light-based and 3D biofabrication technologies, highlighting their growing role in tissue engineering and regenerative medicine.
Jointly organised by ETH Zurich, EPFL, and the University of Pisa, the summer school will bring together researchers, early-career scientists, and experts from across disciplines to explore the latest developments in biofabrication. Through lectures, technical discussions, and collaborative exchanges, participants will examine emerging tools and methods that are shaping the future of regenerative medicine and biomedical engineering.
As part of the programme, STRONG-UR’s coordinator, Pablo Pennisi (Aalborg University), will present the project’s work on innovative bioprinting strategies. His talk will highlight STRONG-UR’s approach to advancing biofabrication technologies and its contribution to the development of clinically relevant regenerative solutions.
